Family excursion to the Prinzenberg Natrun

There is no such thing as boredom on a family holiday on the Hochkönig. Numerous attractions for young and old invite you to unforgettable excursions together between mountains and valleys. Have you ever visited the Prinzenberg Natrun? This top destination at 1,163 m above sea level invites you to unbridled fun for all ages. Time to take a look at this little excursion highlight!
For little guests
With the Natrunbahn, one of the best Austrian summer mountain railways, you can travel in no time from the center of Maria Alm to the former adventure mountain Natrun. Many great experiences await adventurous children there. We recommend a detour to the forest slide park. The hiking trail with five stainless steel slides runs from the mountain station almost down into the valley. Up to 55 m slide length ensure the best fun. A short stop at the Grammlergut snack station inevitably leads to the large adventure playground. Here you can swing, jump, dig and climb as much as you can. Parents have the best view of what’s going on from the sun terrace.
For the bigger ones
But the Prinzenberg Natrun also has many active highlights for older children and young people. How about a trip to the mini golf course? The 18 fun lanes can also be played in the evenings until August 18th. The 3D archery course on the Jufenalm is about an hour away from the mountain station and can easily be combined with a short hike. Finally, the “Flow One” flow trail also welcomes beginners and families over a distance of a good two kilometers – perfect for budding mountain bikers.
The Sonnhof in Mühlbach am Hochkönig is the perfect base camp for excursions of all kinds. Discover exciting things for the whole family and save money on trips with the summer mountain railways thanks to the Hochkönig Card, which is included in the price. Request a non-binding holiday offer today!
