The King’s Days 2017 on the King’s Tour on the Hochkönig

At the 14th and January 15, 2017 is especially good when the entire region is in the midst of King’s Days. And where the royal days are, the Fridge Festival is not far either.
About the Königstour on the Hochkönig
Awarded “best ski tour” by skiresort.de, an incomparable alpine panorama and 32 fantastic kilometers of slopes await adventurous skiers. The five peaks of the Hochkönig region with a difference in altitude of 6,700 meters are seamlessly connected and thus allow boundless winter joy. The conquest train from descent to descent takes a full day. Mounted with orange or yellow direction arrows, it goes over the excellently signposted slopes between Maria Alm, Dienten and Mühlbach. The free trail map is available at all ticket offices.
The royal tour to linger and explore
A skiing holiday in Mühlbach an Hochkönig invites you to a series of journeys of discovery on and along the Königstour. Numerous small and large places at the summit of emotions invite you to linger and enjoy. On benches and rocks, the magnificent view over the region wants to be enjoyed to the fullest. The wooden thrones invite you to take great souvenir photos. There are also 15 treasures for geocachers along the Königstour on the Hochkönig. Armed with a GPS device, they search, find and swap. By the way: Geocaching is also great fun in summer !
King Days 2017
At the 14th and January 15th, 2017 is particularly sporty on and along the Königstour on the Hochkönig. The King’s Days combine fun and excitement with top athletic performance and a bit of partying. Countless program items lead to racetracks and behind the scenes. Selected huts between Dienten, Mühlbach and Maria Alm serve special regional delicacies that can only be tasted on these two days. The renowned ski school invites you to the Marlies Schild race track in Dienten. Designated experts and former professionals give important tips and show how race training at World Cup level really works. - Atomic ski test

Fridge Festival at the Hochkönig
Breathtaking tricks and pulsating beats – from 13th to 15th January 2017, the Fridge Festival will be the peak of emotions. One top performance follows the next on the hottest winter weekend of the year. Among other things, a DJ set by Alan Walker, who had two huge hits last year with “Faded” and “Sing Me To Sleep”, as well as a performance by the popular Salzburg rapper Dame are on the program. A spectacular big-air event with giant jumps takes place on the 40 m high Fridge Ramp, and of course the big Sunday chill-out on the Steinbockalm is a must.
Conquer the Königstour on the Hochkönig and the entire ski area between magnificent powder snow, excellent cuisine and exciting parks. The free ski bus takes you from the Schwaiger family’s ***Hotel Sonnhof to one of the 39 modern lifts and the hottest après-ski parties along the magnificent ski tour in 5-10 minutes.
